At Yallambie Tennis Club we strive to bring joy and participation to the community through the means of tennis. Our club has had some great success bringing these things to the community with additional opportunities for tennis participation for juniors, adults, and seniors, as well as introducing social tennis for those who do not wish to compete.

Along with this we have brought various community events such as family competitions, trivia, arts and crafts, and our ongoing annual club championships. Our cafe helps bring the community together and our continued investment in bringing the club to life via grants has helped improve a variety of infrastructure such as kitchen appliances, improved heating and cooling, and on court improvements to make the game of tennis a better experience.

However despite 300% growth in 2 years, and recently been honoured with Tennis Victoria’s Affiliate of the Month, our club continues to be hit with extreme bills through ageing infrastructure that is buckling our ability to continue the great progress the club is making. This is then made harder with 3 reported thefts in as little as 2 years, along with extreme weather events requiring significant investment to bring back the facility to a level for playing tennis again. 

We are hoping that we can raise funds to continue the great things without the fear of another big bill. Any support will go a long way to ensuring the club continues to provide tennis to the community.
