    ABOUT Yankalilla Netball Club

Yankalilla Netball Club is raising funds to resurface our three community netball courts and give our players a safe, reliable place to train and compete.

Our courts have served the Yankalilla community for many years, but they are now showing their age. Ongoing wear, weather damage and repeated damage from corellas have left the surface cracked, uneven and worn through in areas. The condition has deteriorated to the point where it is becoming an increasing safety concern for our players and other community users.

For a club with more than 130 players, from our youngest juniors through to senior teams, these courts are at the heart of what we do. They are also used beyond netball, including by local tennis players and for Great Southern Netball Association finals, making them an important sporting facility for the wider community.

There is a longer-term plan to redevelop the Yankalilla Memorial Park precinct and eventually relocate the courts, but that project is still many years away. We cannot wait that long to provide a safe playing surface for the people using the courts today.

The Club has already committed significant funds toward the resurfacing project and is working hard through fundraising, grants and community support to make it happen. Our current project estimate is approximately $120,000, with the Club already committing $60,000 of its own funds.

Every contribution will help us protect the future of local netball, keep our players on court and ensure this important community facility remains safe and usable for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of our club and the community behind it. With your support, we can give our players the courts they deserve.
