ABOUT Yoann Colin

Palm Beach, QLD

Triathlon has shaped my life for over a decade. It has taught me discipline, resilience, and how to keep showing up through setbacks, injuries, and long stretches where the results didn’t yet reflect the work. This year, that journey has led to something incredibly special: qualifying for the 2026 Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice.

I’m raising funds to help make that opportunity possible.

Competing at a World Championship is a dream, but it also comes with significant costs - flights, accommodation, race entry, equipment, travel logistics, and the ongoing expenses of preparing at the level required to race against the best in the world. As a professional triathlete, I put everything I have into this sport, but the financial reality of chasing elite competition is that opportunities like this often require support beyond what an athlete can manage alone.

This campaign is about giving myself the best possible chance to represent Australia and compete to my full potential on one of the biggest stages in the sport. Every contribution will go directly toward the costs of getting to Nice, preparing properly, and putting myself in the best position to perform when it matters most.

What makes this opportunity mean even more is the road it has taken to get here. Over the past few years I’ve had to navigate significant injuries, including multiple bone stress injuries and long periods away from consistent training. There were plenty of moments where continuing would have been the easier thing to walk away from. Instead, I chose to keep rebuilding, keep learning, and keep backing the long-term goal. To now have the chance to race at a World Championship feels incredibly meaningful - not just because of the result itself, but because of everything it took to get back to this point.

Alongside racing professionally, I also coach athletes and am completing a PhD in sports data analytics, so sport is something I live from every angle: as an athlete, a coach, and a student of performance. I care deeply about seeing how far I can take my own career, but I also care about doing it in a way that can inspire and help others chasing big goals of their own.

If you choose to support me, thank you. Truly. Whether it’s a donation, sharing this page, or simply following the journey, it means a lot. Your support would play a real role in helping me get to the start line in Nice and race at the level I know I’m capable of.
