    Hello, my name is Zane Taylor and I am hoping to travel overseas for sailing to test and further my abilities. I grew up sailing the Optimist class at RQYS in Brisbane by going through the tackers program and into competitive sailing. I have sailed the 29er class for about 4 years as both skipper and now as crew. Travelling overseas for sailing is something that I have always aspired to do, however COVID and other factors have made that challenging until now. Through national qualification, I have received the opportunity to travel for sailing to test against the best in the world.


    Therefore, I am campaigning to compete in the 2026 29er World Championships (2nd July to 9th July) in Kiel, Germany along with Kiel Week (25th June to 28th June) as a pre-worlds regatta. Raised funds will go towards flights, accomodation, sail charter, regatta entry and food. Thank you for all donations.
