Perth Bayswater Development Fund Perth-Bayswater is one of the oldest operational rugby clubs in Western Australia, founded in 1905. Our Club continues to maintain a strong focus on inclusiveness and building a rich family culture. We have one of the strongest Junior Clubs in the competition fielding over 200 boys and girls every season, a Senior Club fielding teams in Premier Grade down to Third grade and this season we are looking to bring back our Ladies team, 18’s team & our 20’s team. On top of this we have a Golden Oldies Team and looking further afield, we hope to include an All Abilities team in the very near future. 2024 Paracycling Road World Championships Hi, I’m Tahlia. My family like to say that I was born on a bike. And after one too many unsupervised rides around the neighbourhood my Dad took me to the local velodrome. At 4 years old my life in cycling began. After making several state teams as a teenager I put my cycling career on hold to focus on university and starting a career, though I still rode for fun. This fun came to an abrupt stop in my early 20’s, whilst riding my mountain bike I fell, landing on my head on a tree root. That little tree root caused a significant brain injury and I woke in rehab where I spent the next 3 months, learning to walk and talk again. Feeling dejected with cycling, unable to ride the same as I had my whole life, I stopped. Fast forward a decade I realised that I could have a new life with cycling, as a paracyclist. The feelings I get from cycling these days are indescribable, I didn't think I would ever again experience the sense of freedom and independence I feel whilst riding my bike. Now I have the honour of representing Australia as a member of the national team at the 2024 Paracycling Road World Championships in Zurich, Switzerland. Unfortunately, this privilege is self-funded, so in order represent Australia I have to pay $10,000. This is where I need your help. 2024 FORESTVILLE EAGLES U14 GIRLS AUSTRALIAN CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS The Forestville Eagles Under 14 Girls' basketball team is a talented group of young athletes who have qualified to compete for the title of 2024 Australian Club Champions! Our team of determined young individuals have worked tirelessly to reach this milestone, it is a remarkable achievement, and now they will head to Melbourne in September where they will compete against the top 24 teams in the Country! Participating in this week-long tournament involves significant expense, including travel, accommodation and living costs. As a community-based team, we rely on the support and generosity of those around us to help with our fundraising efforts. We kindly ask for a donation to support this passionate team. BFC Development Fund Brookvale Football Club are part of Manly Warringah Football Association and manage teams from Under 6's through to Premier League. BFC is a not for profit incorporated club that attends to the development of grass-roots football players in our local community. BFC is partnering with the Australian Sports Foundation to assist in raising funds for operational equipment and coaching and player development pathway programs. Financial assistance through the BFC Development Fund will allow the club to continue its program to develop grass-roots talent, upgrade equipment and uniforms and continue the skill development of coaching staff. Without the assistance of our volunteers, sponsors and the general community BFC would not be able to pursue our objectives of being a prospering football club of choice for football participants in the Brookvale and surronding areas.

Brookvale FC in a community football club based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Established in 1962 the club has a rich history and is a pillar of the local community. BFC is aiming to raise funds to assist the club with provision on new equipment for all participants and to establish coaching and player development pathways.

Celebrating 100 years of Olympic dreams: Paris 1924-2024 Operating since 1905, Manly Swimming Club is a Northern Beaches sporting institution and an integral part of the sporting development of Manly and its surrounds. The club needs financial support for its community and athlete development programs. Funds raised will be directed towards training and competition costs, as well as equipment such as a touch pad timing system. The club also aims to build on its social, community swim program in addition to its competitive program. To help with fundraising activity, the club is hosting a gala dinner event on Saturday 11 May 2024 to celebrate the centenary of the 1924 Paris Olympics and the remarkable accomplishments of local Northern Beaches athletes. Hosted by the club and MC'd by Olympian, Brooke Hansen, proceeds from event ticket sales will help the club to cover costs for the event, and with additional fundraising support, the club aims to achieve its fundraising target of $20,000. This celebratory gala dinner aims to recognise northern beaches athletes past and present and the influence they have had in creating a sporting pathway for aspiring local athletes. The 1924 games are significant to the Manly Swimming Club as our very own Andrew Boy Charlton secured his inaugural Olympic Gold in the 1500m Freestyle—an achievement that marked the beginning of Australia's enduring dominance in this event. En route to the Paris Olympics ABOUT MARISSA Marissa "Riss" Pohlman's incredible journey began when she discovered boxing as a way to escape a difficult childhood marked by foster care and homelessness. Boxing quickly became her passion and transformed her life as she embarked on an amateur boxing career at just 17 years old. The turning point in Riss' career came when she received the prestigious 2021 Sport Australia Hall of Fame scholarship, which provided the financial support she needed to pursue her dreams. Riss draws her strength from her coach Kel Bryant OAM. Bryant, who operates a not-for-profit boxing gym aimed at developing national champions, serves as Marissa's greatest inspiration. She also credits her challenging childhood and the hardships she faced as the driving force behind her determination to succeed against all odds. Beyond the ring, Riss is an accomplished Heritage Policy Officer for the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Victoria, where she brings her First Nations perspective to policy-making. Siena Farrell - U20 World Championships Hi everyone, My name is Siena Farrell, and I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected for the Australian Team to compete in the Under 20 World Championships in Peru this August. This is a dream come true, and I am seeking your support to help cover the levy costs associated with travel, accommodation, training, and competition. My passion for athletics began when I was just 7 years old, competing at South Melbourne District Little Athletics Centre. Now, I proudly represent Old Melburnians Athletics Club. Over the years, I have been fortunate to win National and Oceania titles in the Heptathlon and Triple Jump. However, my true love lies with the hurdles, specifically the 400m hurdles. Despite facing injury-interrupted seasons over the last two years, I have persevered and won the last three National Titles in my age group (U17, U18 and U20). Will Rogers 2024 Under 19 World Rowing Championships I have been selected in the Australian Under 19 rowing team to compete in St Catharines, Canada this year at the World Championships. This has been a goal of mine for a number of years and I am excited to be representing Australia in the green and gold for the under 19 mens single scull event. I am raising funds for travel, accommodation, seat fees and equipment costs associated with training and attending the Championships. I will be 17 years old when we head to Canada and currently studying in year 12, I am currently making plans for my continuation in rowing next year and beyond.
