Visit websiteWe're the Atlantic Waterbirds - Charlie, Ena, Karla and Fiona - four Aussie women gearing up for the challenge of a lifetime: the World's Toughest Row in December 2026.
The World's Toughest Row is a race where teams from all corners of the globe come together to take on the mighty Atlantic Ocean. We aim to highlight this incredible challenge and inspire future Australian teams to join us on the global leaderboard.
Our journey isn't just about rowing 3000 nautical miles from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean; it's about our personal and collective objectives and inspiring people of all ages to dream big and pursue their goals, no matter how big or small they might be!
To achieve this monumental feat we are asking for your support. Donations through this page will directly fund crucial aspects of our row: from purchasing the boat, specialised equipment, land support, flights, shipping and training. Your contributions will ensure our boat and team is fully equipped for the rigorous journey ahead. After completing the race all remaining supplies and equipment will be sold and the proceeds donated to our nominated charity.
During our campaign, we are proud to support the Channel Seven Perth Telethon.
Since its inception in 1968, this remarkable charity event, produced by the Seven Network in Western Australia, has made a significant impact on countless lives through providing financial support to the medical and social welfare of children and young people and through funding research into children's diseases. Among the many beneficiaries of Telethon's generosity are:
- Perth Children's Hospital - funding for medical equipment, research and patient services that help to save lives and improve outcomes for young patients;
- Telethon Kids Institute - research into children's health issues including autism, cancer, diabetes and mental health;
- Charities that provide support services for children with disabilities, developmental delays and other special needs; and
- Community programs focusing on education, prevention and support for families in crisis or facing difficulties.
We would love you to join us as we row for this important cause, challenging ourselves beyond limits and navigating the Atlantic Ocean with every emotion in tow. Together, we can turn this incredible journey into a reality and create a lasting legacy of courage, determination and giving.
Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us make a difference!
