Launched in 2021 as the Foundation’s first fundraising project, the AGF Junior Girls Scholarship Program provides scholarships to girls aged 9 to 16 years that enables them to receive tuition, junior membership for one year and obtain a GA handicap to play in competitions with their fellow scholars. 

Scholars can join a newly formed Alumni and receive benefits that include reciprocal playing rights at other courses, discounted green fees, participate in special events and most importantly stay connected with other girls in the program. They can also continue to develop their golf through pathway programs or enrol in further education opportunities at the PGA of Australia.

The program has already reached over 3,000 scholarships being granted with 60% of recipients coming from regional Australia and 80% of girls retaining a club membership.

Goal: 10,000 scholarships granted by 2030.

Investment Needed: $400,000 per annum.

Every $10,000 raised enables 5 clubs to give 30 girls the lifechanging opportunity of a scholarship.
