This programme is designed to give local Rugby schools the provision of top-line coaches, provide an opportunity for local schools to experience National Championship level competition and to experience playing against national school rugby teams from other nations with the potential to also tour other countries. 

The Development Programme will assist with:

• Sourcing coaches; both male and female, trained and qualified. Provided to participating schools that have difficulty in securing top level coaches.
• Ability for regional area schools to have international touring teams play games within their catchment and/or provide the ability for these teams to travel to areas where they can compete against international school squads (both within Australia and overseas).
• Development of identified players providing them an opportunity to be selected for and participate in State Representative Teams at the Australian Schools Rugby National Championships.
