Please help Ben represent at national and international events this year and next!

Ben Larsen grew up camping, fishing, and surfing in Queensland before being introduced to volleyball in Grade 6. He was awarded a scholarship to Nudgee College in Brisbane before being invited to pursue his volleyball dream at the Australian Volleyball Academy, Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), in Canberra. He has been living and training at the AIS since the start of 2024.

Ben has won Gold at the Australian Youth Beach Championships for the last 3 years, as well as being awarded MVP for the U18 Boys this year. He has also captained the Queensland boys to Gold at the Australian Youth Indoor Championships for the last 2 years. Ben has represented Australia twice in Thailand, captained Australia in Bahrain in July, and is heading to Nationals in September. He is also a great bloke.

Ben was honoured to be the recipient of the Green and Gold Award last year, and is excited and thankful for the opportunities ahead of him. As volleyball is a self funded sport Ben is grateful for all support toward helping him achieve his best.
