The Black Rock Sports Club plays an important part in the lives of our many members and the wider local community, providing them with sporting and recreational facilities promoting exercise, relaxation and friendly social interaction.

Whilst the Club will continue its profit growth strategies with a focus on its current revenue streams, these revenues are sometimes insufficient to fund the long term strategies of the Club and the community.

The BLACK ROCK SPORTS CLUB FOUNDATION has been created with a view to establish and grow a permanent fund to be used for both the development of junior tennis and bowls, and various immediate and future Club infrastructure and capital projects. It will be a vehicle by which companies and members can invest in the future of the Black Rock Sports Club.

The Foundation is a separate legal entity to the Club and is administered by a Board of Trustees that are independent of the Board of the Club.

The Foundation aims to create and maintain a permanent fund, administered independently from the Club administration to help preserve, enhance, develop and maintain the standards and facilities at Black Rock Sports Club.

Our mission with the Foundation is to ensure that those who follow us – our children, their families and friends, and all future members of the Black Rock Sports Club – have a secure future at the Club, so that they too can enjoy the Club, just as we have.
