Objectives of the Foundation:

Promoting Rugby Union & Player Development

• Support the growth of rugby at all levels within Blue Mountains Rugby Club.
• Invest in initiatives that enhance community engagement (eg game day themes like Multicultural Day, targeted local advertising, etc.).
• Invest in initiatives that improve player development from Colts (Under 21s) to Seniors.
• Support Blue Mountains Junior Rugby Club (Blue Tongues) where feasible and appropriate.

Ensuring Blue Mountains Rugby Club’s Financial Strength & Stability

• Build a sustainable financial base to support the club’s long-term success.
• Provide a source of flexible funding to address key priorities as they arise.

Supporting Coaches & Building Rugby Programs

• Invest in coaching development to improve playing standards (eg financial assistance for young coaches to obtain further accreditation).
• Strengthen pathways between our Juniors (Blue Tongues), Colts (Under 21s), and Senior Grades.

Improving Blue Mountains Rugby Facilities & Equipment

• Maintain and improve club infrastructure to ensure the club continues to provide fit-for-purpose facilities to our players and supporters.
• Fund the acquisition of new equipment and assets for training and game days.

Honouring the History & Traditions of the Blue Mountains Rugby Club

• Preserve and celebrate the club’s legacy (eg investing in display platforms such as trophy cabinets, framing, and multimedia for club memorabilia).
• Strengthen ties between past and present players, ensuring the club remains a home for all who have worn the double blue jersey.

Engaging & Supporting the Blue Mountains Rugby Club Community

• Develop initiatives that encourage networking between current and former players, supporters and sponsors.
• Encourage community involvement and outreach programs to promote rugby in the Blue Mountains region.

Creating a Future Fund for Long-Term Success

• Establish a financial foundation to safeguard the club’s future.
• Build a lasting legacy of financial support to keep Blue Mountains Rugby Club strong for future generations.

• Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible through the Australian Sports Foundation—please give generously.
• To ensure the ongoing success of this initiative, we encourage recurring donations, even small amounts ($5–$10 per week or month).
