As the financial year draws to a close, we are seeking your financial support for a $20,000 project to upgrade our Matlock facilities. We have an ambitious list of upgrades including: incorporating a new Technical Bench into the existing dugout. You can see from the attached photoshop mock-up that one of the existing storage sheds is removed, the CHC dugout moves to the north end and the Tech Bench inserted. This will facilitate a superior location of the tech bench for PL games. It will have an elevated seating position and be protected from the weather. It also provides shelter for umpires and their gear. The existing central storage will be cleared out providing better access to our computer equipment and roof access to the scoreboard and camera placement.

Additionally, we plan to purchase six new metal small goals for our Hook in2 Hockey, U8's & U10 junior program, replacing the old PVC goals that have become brittle over time. Additionally, we propose a flat run off area in the SE corner for the trollies that carry the heavy boards for sixes and juniors. This area will require a retaining wall and house a low Greenkeeper style shed for equipment and tool storage. We envisage the temporary shipping container will no longer be required and will be removed. This will impact positively on the Anniversary Trail aspect of the ground. We have assessed our existing goals and they are in need of maintenance, but not full replacement at this time. While our plans are being worked up and small details may change, the project promises to better use the area we have and improve the facilities to the benefit of the game and the club.
