Crusaders Cricket Australia was established in 1977 to provide young people with the opportunity to play cricket. Crusaders is made up of multiple programs including the Outright program that consists of up to 100 boys and girls aged 14-18 to play games in summer against schools,associations,academies and club teams and also receive expert coaching from our volunteer coaches including a number of former state and national players. The Crusaders also provide once-in a- lifetime opportunity to young willing cricketers to experience the game in other countries through mid year cricket tours to places such as Europe,Asia,England and Sri Lanka.

The fundraising program was set up to raise funds to offset the costs involved for the participants, being the young players. Costs are incurred for:

• hire of venues, 
• equipment (i.e. cricket balls),
• provision of umpires, 
• lunches for the players and umpires, and
• provision of specific program uniforms for all participants.
