In the early hours of November 4, 2023 our home, the clubrooms of the Fish Creek Football Netball Club were targeted by thieves and destroyed by fire.

Built by volunteers, the building was more than just changerooms and clubrooms. It was where we celebrated premierships, mourned our loved ones, provided weekly meals for the wider community, welcomed all newcomers and saw strangers become family.

It was a building that housed irreplaceable memorabilia and a visual history of a club that was formed in 1891, and is arguably the most successful in Victoria with 37 senior football premierships, alongside many reserve, junior and netball flags.

Fish Creek has long been a breeding ground for VFL/AFL footballers - our most recent export is Gold Coast Sun Sam Flanders - and during the 2023 season we provided sporting opportunities for 150-plus football and netball players.

We're determined to continue to build on the proud red-and-white success story and we need your help to write the next chapter of establishing temporary game-day amenities and ultimately rebuilding our clubrooms.

It will be a long road to recovery and individuals and businesses have the option of pledging a one-off contribution, or establishing a monthly or yearly donation schedule. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
