The First Step Foundations vision is to assist Australian youth to pursue their American Football dreams. Whether that be in Flag Football or Tackle Football, at club, state or national level right here in Australia, or following Jesse's giant footsteps to a US Junior College, a College Scholarship, the NFL and ultimately the Super Bowl in the US.

American Football can be, and is, life changing. Notwithstanding the physical and mental benefits of joining your local flag or contact team, opportunities for one of 18,000 + ‘full ride’ US Collegiate Scholarships, increasing US College Flag Football scholarships, senior professional contracts in the NFL, WNFL, EFL and JFL, and now the real possibility of representing the Australian Men’s and Women’s Flag teams at the Olympics from 2028.

“We will be touring Australia with football camps, clinics, combine competitions, as well as special events and fundraisers to provide overall support for youth in the Gridiron Australia community. At the pinnacle of that, we are looking to take our 10 best every year on a trip of a lifetime to experience NFL and College Programs up close and personal.

Jesse Williams paved the pathway from Gridiron Australia, to US College Graduate, to NFL superstar and which now others have followed. Now back in Australia to give back, he is kicking off the fundraising by donating his 'Super Bowl Winning Seattle Seahawks Jersey'. Giving up a piece of his journey to hopefully create thousands of other life changing journeys for the youth of Australia.
