MDNAs Representative Netball Program aspires to lead netball athlete development in Queensland by providing an environment for developing athletes and coaches to flourish.

Each year representative players aged 12 to 18 years compete in elite competitions culminating in Netball Queensland’s Junior and Senior State Age Championships. For players 15+ the Greater Brisbane Netball League competition is another opportunity to represent MDNA at an elite level.

Our trajectory towards achieving our aspiration includes ongoing investment in development initiatives for all our athletes and coaches.

We are offering representative players access to speed and agility programs and specialist skills clinics delivered by leaders in the field.

We are providing all MDNA Representative teams with highly skilled coaches who are also participating in coach development activities and mentorship programs.

We want to provide these foundational programs as part of the overall value proposition to our representative players year on year. Additionally, in 2023 MDNA is sending six teams and their coaches, managers and umpires to Townsville for Junior State Age which attracts additional expense. In order to fund these programs and to assist in our cohort of coaches and umpires traveling to Townsville, we are asking for your support.

Through partnership with the community, role modelling respectful relationships and encouraging courageous attitudes and behaviour in our players we are well on the way to realising our big goals.
