Diamond Spirit is a capacity-building program delivered in school and community settings, designed to Educate, Engage and Empower First Nations girls, young women and their communities through the power of netball. It is delivered across three pillars – Educate, Engage and Empower.

Educate builds culturally safe learning environments to improve academic and post-school outcomes for First Nations girls and young women in Years 7-12.

Engage increases access to netball participation opportunities for First Nations youth living in distinct and remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. 

Empower offers tailored support to First Nations people interested in acquiring coaching and umpiring accreditations and other related skills to drive netball activities in their communities.

Since 2017, thousands of First Nations youth in regional and remote communities and over 500 students in Educate Hubs have benefited from programs and activities delivered under the Diamond Spirit banner. With your help we can continue to promote reconciliation by enabling Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to learn, participate and access opportunities equally and equitably.
