Our cricket program starts with the Woolworths Junior Blasters program for ages 5-8, junior boys/girls and senior teams in the Ballarat Cricket Association, and 1 x senior all genders inclusive All Abilities team in the Melbourne All Abilities Cricket Association. The latter is of regional importance, as there is only 1 other regional/country team out of the 15 teams in the league.

The Ballarat Cricket Association strategic plan focuses on introduction of dedicated womens and girls cricket competitions. We have just begun the pre-work with a number of girls already participating in our Woolworths Junior Blasters and BCA Junior Pennant competitions.

Community sports clubs positively enhance both the mental and physical wellbeing of a vast cross-section of individuals from all walks of life. Competitive sport knows no boundaries, and the team environment provides important social interaction opportunities for all. This greatly contributes towards a much happier, connected, healthier and inclusive community overall.
