Our goal at Oatlands Golf Club is to create a pathway for our Junior golfers to develop and grow into the best players they can be. Our scholarship program is offered to those Junior Members who have demonstarted a willingness to represent Oatlands Golf Club at the highest level and who might be interested in a career in golf.

Oatlands Golf Club offers two categories of scholarships. See below:

 

JUNIOR SQUAD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ( 7 spots available)

Eligibility Criteria

·        Must be a member of Oatlands Golf Club

·        Age 10 – 17 yrs

·         Ideally graduated from the Oatlands JDP Program

·         Commit to Oatlands as their “home club”

·        Represent Oatlands if selected) in Encourage Shield, Junior Pennants, Eric Apperly  

·         Must compete in clubs major events (e.g. Club Championships, Monthly Medals)

·        Utilise coaching provided by Oatlands GC Professionals

·         Always represent the club with etiquette and manners

·         Wear Oatlands GC branded clothing when playing golf at other clubs

·        Promote Oatlands through the use of social media (where appropriate)

                        

ELITE SQUAD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ( 7 spots available)

Eligibility Criteria

·        Must be a member of Oatlands Golf Club  Age 10 – 22 yrs

·         Ideally graduated from the Junior Squad Program

·        Commit to Oatlands as their “home club”

·     Represent Oatlands (if selected) in Major Pennants, Eric Apperly, Junior Pennants, Encourage Shield

·    Must compete in clubs major event (e.g. Club Championships, Monthly Medals)

·      Utilise coaching provided by Oatlands GC Professionals

·        Always represent the club with etiquette and manners

·       Wear Oatlands GC branded clothing when playing golf at other clubs

·        Promote Oatlands hrough the use of social media (where appropriate)

SELECTION PROCESS

Eligible Members will be selected by a committee made up of the General Manger, Club Captain, Ladies Club Captain and Golf Operations Manager. If selected, each scholarship member will be required to attend a formal club meeting to discuss the requirements of the program.

Those who are selected have been identified as the future of Oatlands GC and will help build the clubs brand and act as ambassadors for the golf club.

Junior Squad Scholarship Members and Elite Squad Scholarship Members will be celebrated and promoted by Oatlands GC for their achievements through various platforms including our website, social media, Enews and Annual Club Presentation dinner.
