As a young Australian racing driver chasing my dream of F1, your support is critical for me to succeed.

After competing in the British Formula 4 by FIA® championship in 2023, I am looking forward to taking the next step in British formula 3, known as GB3 in 2024 and I am very excited to confirm that I have been offered a seat by the team that won the Team's Championship in 2023 after a competitive testing programme.

The GB3 championship is a competitive 8-rounds 24 races series racing on some of the world’s best-known circuits including five Formula 1 circuits in the UK and Europe. GB3 attracts some of the best drivers in the world on their way to FIA F3, F2 and Formula 1.

My motto is purpose, commitment, resilience. I’m totally committed to pursuing my dream, and I moved to the other side of the world at age 16 to do so. I’m also committed to making the most of peoples efforts to help me and trying to get the best results to climb the motorsport ladder.

Sporting Director of Mercedes-AMG F1, Ron Meadows:

“Patrick is one of those people who you cannot help but want to root for, he’s a genuine, top class young man. I’ve been watching Patrick closely during his British F4 debut, I’m impressed by his dedication, commitment and hard-working attitude, always looking to learn and improve each time he steps into the car. He’s certainly one to watch out for…”

A talented multi-sport athlete, Patrick embarked on his motorsport career at 13-years-old after a chance visit to Sydney’s Eastern Creek go-kart circuit ignited his passion for all things racing. After kart racing in Australia for the following three years, Patrick soon progressed to cars, competing in the 2022 NSW Formula Ford Championship where he was running 3rd in the standings before departing for the UK.

Patrick’s talent was most recognised in the 2022 Ferrari Driver Academy Asia Pacific trials, proceeding to the final from 23 of the most talented young drivers in Asia/Oceania. Whilst narrowly missing out on proceeding to the world final in Italy, this opportunity only confirmed the young Aussie’s interest in pursuing singIe-seater racing overseas.

At the age of just 16 Patrick made the 10,000 mile move to the United Kingdom, dedicating himself to his goal of having a career in motorsport. After following a rigorous winter testing programme with the Argenti British F4 team and making improvements each time he stepped in the car, Patrick embarked on the next step of his motorsport career, joining the FIA Global Pathway and the Phinsys by Argenti’s 2023 British F4 driver line-up.

Competing in 2023, in one of the most competitive British F4 fields ever, Patrick has developed incredibly quickly and adapted to the new cars, tracks and environment, and is looking forward to building on this experience as he goes into 2024.
