The Port Adelaide Spartans Gridiron Club is the oldest gridiron club in South Australia, being one of the founding clubs of the Gridiron Association of South Australia, incorporated in 1985. We field teams in the Junior and Senior competitions and strive to be competitive every season and upholding our Club values of dedication, hard work, respect and inclusivity.

Gridiron is a very niche sport in South Australia; we do not receive much exposure in the media and not many people know about the league. Our goal is to grow our membership base by exposing more people who enjoy watching the NFL to playing gridiron. We can do this by advertising the Club on social media and in traditional media and by bringing the Spartans into schools by supporting Flag Football programs in PE Curriculum. We can further support our new and existing members by purchasing uniforms and protective and training equipment, lower costs and making the sport more affordable for all players.
