ABOUT ME
I am 17 years old, and since the age of 7 I’ve been sailing, honing my skills in various vessels like Pacers, Flying 11 and 29ers. In early 2022 I ventured to the iQFOiL - an exhilarating sport blending traditional windsurfing and ultra modern hydrofoiling. My goal is to compete against the world's best in international regattas and ultimately to represent Australia at the Olympics.
FUNDING
I bring exceptional dedication and skill to this emerging sport. With aspirations to represent Australia on the global stage, I've demonstrated the potential to become a future champion. However the undeniable truth is that funding is a critical factor for success. ⬜ Compete in the Princesa Sofia Regatta in Palma, Spain (28 MAR-5 APR 2025)
⬜ Compete in the Semaine Olympique Française in Hyeres, France (19-26 APR 2025)
⬜ Compete in the Allianz Regatta in Medemblik, Netherlands (24 MAY-01 JUN 2025)
⬜ Compete in the Kiel Regatta in Kiel, Germany (3-8 JUN 2025)
⬜ Compete in the iQFOiL World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark (4-11 JUL 2025)
⬜ Compete in the iQFOiL Youth World Championships in Brest, France 19-26 JUL 2025)
⬜ Compete in the iQFOiL Youth European Championships in Arzachena, Italy (18-25 OCT 2025)
⬜ Continue to compete and be competitive at State and National regattas (2024-2025)
⬜ My ultimate goal is to compete at an Olympic level (2028 Los Angeles, 2032 Brisbane, AUS)
ACHIEVEMENTS
My 2023/2024 achievements were:
☑️ I reached the medal race, advanced through quarter and semifinals and achieved 5th place overall at the iQFOiL & Junior European Championships in Embrun, France (2-11 JUL 2024)
☑️ I achieved 8th (Silver Fleet), 2nd Australian and 62nd overall among 107 competitors at the Princesa Sofia Regatta in Palma, Spain (20 MAR-6 APR 2024) for my first International Olympic class regatta.
☑️ I achieved 18th among 145 competitors in my first International regatta (U19 men) in the iQFOiL Youth & Junior European Championships and place in the top 20 (2023).
☑️ I placed 3rd at Sail Sydney - the Oceanic Championships and World Championship Qualifier event (Olympic class, 2023)
☑️ I placed 4th at Sail Melbourne (Olympic class, 2023)
☑️ I placed 2nd at Queensland State Championship (Olympic class, 2023)
☑️ Selected in the Australian Sailing Pathway Team - Developing
☑️ Selected as a categorised QAS (Queensland Academy of Sport) athlete
