After several successful seasons the SHOC Football Club has positioned itself as a SAAFL Division 1 Powerhouse. This has been done on the back of the extremely hard work of the committee, the coaching staff and playing group. The competition has never been stronger and it is probably one of the most exciting times in the clubs history.

SHOCFC continues its tradition of playing for mates and for the jumper with none of our players being paid to play. However to build on our success and strong club culture we must find innovative ways of attracting and retaining quality people and new players to the club. To this effect the SHOC Player Retention Committee has been created with a mandate to continue to build a more professional and caring football environment. 

A new initiative we have created is the Player Support Fund, utilising the Australian Sports Federation website. The player support fund will contribute to player and coaching staff welfare, development and leadership programs. It will also provide assistance with out-of-pocket medical expenses, training and recovery equipment and best player incentives.

We are grateful for any donation make and our suggestion is the give monthly option which is a recurring monthly debit of your choice. This will allow us to better monitor ongoing resources for the betterment of our club. Put simply give as little or as much as you like - this can be the cost of a coffee a week knowing that every dollar will be spent on improving conditions for our players and contribute greatly to our ongoing success. 

The fund has been established with ASF to ensure that your contributions are tax deductible and we recognise and really appreciate the continued support. There will be a yearly function arranged to acknowledge all contributors.
