Speed Zone Roller Sports Club is a Queensland premier Inline Speed Skating club and home of current state, national and world-class skaters. The Club runs a weekly inline speed training session at Eagles Sports Complex for beginners to elite skates to sharpen their performance in inter club, State, International and World competitions.

The Club has 6 coaches and some 24 registered skaters and is endeavouring to attract more members, particularly junior skaters. Speed Zone Club also provides training to members of other Queensland Speed Skating Clubs whom we will also support.

The club has indoor timing equipment, many pairs of skates for loan to new skaters, and other equipment to run indoor competitions. It jointly operates with Nundah Inline Skating Squad for training on the outdoor criterium circuit at Albert Bishop Park, Nundah in preparation for State, Australian, International and World competitions.

Speed skaters train and race either indoors (track) or outdoors (road). Events range from a variety of short sprint races, to middle distance races, like the 5000m, and extend to the marathon and the 100km ultra marathon.

Inline Speed skating is now an Olympic Sport and we are endeavouring to nurture our up and coming skaters to strive to represent Australia in both World Championships and Olympic competitions.

Speed Zone Roller Sports Club will undertake five projects.

The First is to fund skaters to attend coaching sessions held by internationally recognised Coaches and to assist them with fares and costs to attend those courses.

The Second is to fund our coaches to attend Coaching Sessions to improve their coaching skills and knowledge.

The Third is to support skaters, selected to represent Australia or who will be competing in International competitions, with fares and entry fees.

The Fourth is to fund the acquisition of equipment such as an electronic lap timing system.

The Fifth is to finance reputable coaches and inline speed skating specialists to come to Brisbane to coach both skaters and to mentor and train our existing coaches.

By making a tax-deductible donation you will receive a concession from the Government and we will be able to promote our projects to enhance skaters' skills and quality of our coaching.

We would be delighted if you could assist us and make a tax deductible donation to allow Speed Zone Roller Sports Club achieve their objectives.
