Over 14 million Australians participate in sport annually and over 1.8 million volunteers commit 158 million hours of their time each year.

Sunshine Coast Sports has a strong history here on the Sunshine Coast playing an important and valued role in supporting our grass roots sports and celebrating the achievements of local athletes on the world stage across all sports; abled and para.

After the challenges that have come with the last few years it’s vital we provide adequate support to grass roots sport by promoting participation and enabling athletes to achieve their goals.

We’re committed to fundraising $1 million over the next five years to support our grass roots athletes with scholarships, grants for clubs and teams, sport development, mentoring, recognition through the Sunshine Coast Sports Awards and more.
