The Club requires financial support to assist in the purchase of a fleet of up to 6 J70s as well as helping with financing the ongoing costs of delivering the sailing program e.g. coaches, regatta fees, sail replacements, boat maintenance, uniforms. The aim of the program is to train Members, with a particular focus on youth and youth retention, and to produce the skilled sailors of the future. 

This new and exciting program will provide an affordable pathway for younger members to progress from OTB sailing to keelboat whilst still sailing within their peer group. This initiative is seen as fundamental to improving youth retention and also to making it easier for those leavers in the 25-40 year-old age bracket to make an earlier return to sailing.

Members have the opportunity to make an unconditional tax deductible donation to assist in this program. Whilst donors can’t receive material benefits in return for a tax deductible donation, in recognition of any such generous contribution, we will publicly recognise your generosity in club circles.
