This project is aimed at developing, preparing and supporting a team of Para Wheelchair Fencers from Sydney Para Fencing, with the dream of Fighting to qualify for the 2028 LA and 2032 Brisbane Games. This project is aimed at creating an International competitive pathway for our Fencers and to assist them with their hopes, passion and dedication for the Green and Gold. 

International Travel Support

-              Funding would support both Athletes and Coaches to attend International Competition 

It would cover – flights, accommodation, food, transport, entry and classification fees 

-              Funding would also assist with Referee Levy, if it is required for overseas competitions with 4 or more athletes 

(Per diem and travel costs) 

-              Funding would support both Athletes and Coaches to attend and participate at International Wheelchair Fencing Camps and Regional competitions 

Additional cost covered 

-               WPF annual licence 

-              AFF & NSW annual membership
