The TAS Rowing program is thriving, with more Senior School students taking part and making rowing their chosen summer sport. The program offers much more than just an opportunity to compete; it instills crucial life skills such as discipline, resilience, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. The rigorous physical and mental challenges of rowing teach students the true meaning of hard work, preparing them for success both during their school years and in the years to come. These are qualities that transcend the sport itself, equipping students with the tools to tackle challenges in any area of life, all attributes that are gained from a TAS education.

The recent success at the NSW State Schools Regatta is a testament to the program’s commitment to achieving strong results. With TAS securing multiple medals across different boat classes and earning an outstanding sixth-place finish out of 45 competing schools, the team's performance underscores the high standards and dedication of our rowers and coaching staff. Such achievements not only bring pride to the School, but also highlight the potential for even greater success in the future.

As the program continues to grow, it’s vital to ensure that our rowers have access to the resources they need to thrive. With more students eager to participate, there’s an increasing demand for equipment to accommodate everyone and to support their development. By investing in the tools and infrastructure necessary to match the program’s growth, we can empower our rowers to unlock their full potential and build on the foundation of excellence that TAS Rowing has established.
