There has been a continual improvement in the Eastlake Golf course and facilities in recent years to ensure we provide a challenging course whilst providing outstanding value to Members.

In order to continue this improvement, a Fund has been set up under the Australian Sports Foundation to ensure the long term development for two key areas of the Club’s activities – Junior Members and Greenkeeper staff. These two areas are considered fundamental in maintaining and improving the sustainability of the Club in the future.

·      Junior Member Development Program - to be carried out under the direction of the Club Professional through a series of initiatives that allow for the awarding of annual scholarships; coaching and development programs to improve and increase the number of Juniors;  help Juniors develop their games with pathways to their long term participations in the Club and community.

·      Greenkeeper Staff Development Program - to be under the direction of the Club Golf Course Superintendent through a series of initiatives that allow for staff to attend courses and conferences to improve and maintain their professional accreditation and qualifications; attend conferences to improve their skills and address the challenges of maintaining a course located in an environmentally sensitive area; purchase of specialist staff equipment to benefit the staff.

We are asking Members to assist in raising money for these ongoing Programs to strengthen the activities of Club. All donations above $2 are tax deductible and the Fund and its activities have been approved by the Australian Sports Foundation.

The Club hopes to raise a minimum of$20,000 each year to establish and maintain these initiatives.  Your support on an ongoing basis is greatly appreciated. PLEASE DONATE TODAY.
