Snowsports is a relatively new addition to the School's extra-curricular activities, and the sport has captured the attention of the boys keen to participate in competition in these incredibly challenging disciplines. Alpine, Skier Cross, Moguls, Snowboard GS, Boardercross and Cross Country competitions all attract a healthy number of entries. Many boys participate in multiple disciplines and achieve top results in a number of areas.

The Senior School Snowsports team competes in the Northern Regional Zone Championships that provide a pathway to the State and National Championships of the Australian Interschools Snowsports competition.

Given the limited time available for preparation for these gruelling events, the School is committed to securing the services of some of the best coaches in the country to assist in the rapid development of the skills required to be successful. King's secures team and individual entries at the top level of the School's championships – the Nationals.

The Snow Sports project will assist in the training of up and coming snow sports enthusiasts and the identification of potential elite level athletes.
