Toowong Rowing Club has a proud history of success on the water. This success is the result of the efforts of committed hard working athletes and coaches and of their ability to access the best quality equipment that the club can afford.

The cost of new equipment and the limited availability of quality second hand equipment is an ongoing challenge for community-based clubs like Toowong.

The TRC Management Committee have reviewed the Asset Management Plan and have set some ambitious targets for a fleet upgrade. In line with the Asset Management Plan, the committee wish to pursue the acquisition of a heavyweight 8. Once the new 8+ is purchased, equipment can be passed down and older boats retired. The committee also wish to acquire some out of cycle mid fleet/second hand fleet 8 shells for out non-competitive social masters and our female master's cohort. The end result is that many members will benefit. 

Ongoing the plan is to enhance aspects of our fleet each year. 

This year, to accelerate and support this undertaking, we are launching a major fundraising initiative. Our aim is to raise $30,000. 

Our athletes deserve the best equipment we can afford!
