The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) is excited to announce a new fundraising partnership with ZECO Sports, a leading soccer apparel brand committed to supporting grassroots sport. This collaboration will provide much-needed financial assistance to community soccer clubs across Australia, ensuring athletes of all levels can continue to participate and thrive.

ZECO Sports was developed in consultation with elite soccer players from the Oceania region, creating a high-quality range of grip socks, shin guards, and other accessories. Driven by a passion for community sport, ZECO Sports is committed to helping clubs overcome financial barriers and ensuring that rising costs do not prevent athletes from playing the game they love.

Through this partnership, ZECO Sports will support community soccer clubs with a fundraising need via the ZECO Sports Community Fund. Soccer clubs registered with the ASF will have the opportunity to receive funding collected through ZECO Sports’s online store.

ZECO Sports Director John Kimbell highlighted the importance of this initiative in addressing financial challenges faced by grassroots clubs.

“The number of people playing sport in Australia is in sharp decline. Athletes often face significant costs associated with equipment, coaching and competition travel, while many clubs are working hard to maintain facilities and replace ageing equipment in an increasingly challenging environment.
