ASF and revolutioniseSPORT launch partnership
October 16, 2024
The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) is excited to announce a new partnership with revolutioniseSPORT (revSPORT), Australia’s most trusted online sports management platform. This collaboration will streamline fundraising by enabling clubs using revSPORT to seamlessly accept tax-deductible donations from members during the registration process.
From December, ASF’s fundraising platform will integrate directly with revSPORT’s whole-of-sport system, where clubs manage schedules, payments, and registrations through one easy-to-use interface. This integration will introduce a new membership donation add-on, allowing clubs to raise funds for critical needs like upgrading facilities, purchasing equipment, and supporting athlete development. By simplifying the donation process, the partnership aims to reduce administrative tasks, allowing volunteers to focus on enhancing the sporting experience.
ASF CEO, Sue Hunt AM, highlighted the importance of this partnership at a crucial time for community sport.
“As part of our commitment to supporting grassroots sports, the Australian Sports Foundation is excited to announce this collaboration with revSPORT, one that will provide the tools to grow and sustain funding at a critical time for our sports industry. Our investment in technology is a cornerstone of our mission to support Australian sport, and this partnership with revSPORT is a perfect example of how we’re expanding our capabilities for the benefit of our sporting community."
Ryan Holloway, ASF’s Chief Partnerships Officer, emphasised the new opportunities that this partnership brings.
"Sports clubs and organisations will have new opportunities to fundraise for essential needs, from upgrading facilities and purchasing equipment to supporting athlete development and launching community programs. These resources are vital for clubs to grow and thrive, and through this partnership and the simplification of fundraising with revSPORT, we’re here to help them unlock their potential."
revSPORT’s Chief Operations Officer, Nic Watkins, echoed this sentiment, noting how the new integration will unlock previously untapped revenue opportunities for grassroots clubs.
"Our exclusive partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation has the power to change the face of our industry. By providing an innovative solution centred around an exceptional user experience, sporting clubs using revSPORT will be able to leverage the capabilities of our two organisations and unlock previously untapped revenue opportunities."
David Thompson, Chief Strategy & Major Projects Officer at Hockey Australia, has also expressed his support of the partnership.
"We’re excited to support this fantastic partnership between two of our valued partners, the Australian Sports Foundation and revolutioniseSPORT.
This initiative allows hockey clubs across Australia to benefit, as members can now make tax-deductible donations when registering for the season, to support their local club. These contributions could go towards coaching, uniforms, or facility upgrades for their club.
With more than 800 hockey clubs nationwide, this offers a fresh approach to engage generous club members and boost fundraising efforts."
The partnership between ASF and revSPORT will provide clubs with year-round fundraising capabilities, enhanced engagement, and improved communication tools, helping them thrive in challenging times. The new tools will ensure that clubs can continue to focus on supporting athletes and communities while securing the funds they need to grow.
Clubs using revSPORT are encouraged to register their interest now to be among the first to access the new membership donation add-on.
