$100k for Grassroots Clubs: The Swysh Future Stars Grant Returns
$100k for Grassroots Clubs: The Swysh Future Stars Grant Returns
August 06, 2026
Community sport allows young Australians to build confidence, develop new skills and form lifelong friendships. Behind every training session and weekend fixture are volunteer-run clubs working hard to provide welcoming environments where kids can thrive.
To help those clubs continue to make a difference, the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) and Swysh are proud to launch the 2026 Swysh Future Stars Grant.
Building on the success of last year's grant round, the program will provide at least $100,000 worth of essential sporting equipment to volunteer-run community sports clubs and organisations across Australia, helping reduce participation costs for families and ensuring more young Australians can get involved and stay involved in sport.
Supporting the clubs that support our communities
Community clubs are at the heart of Australian sport. They create opportunities for young people to stay active, make friends and be part of something bigger than themselves. But as clubs grow and equipment wears out, replacing essential gear can place additional pressure on already stretched resources.
The Swysh Future Stars Grant is designed to provide practical support where it's needed most.
Eligible clubs can apply for up to $5,000 worth of essential sporting equipment to help them keep participation more affordable for the families they support.
From footballs and netballs to training equipment, protective gear, and more, the grant provides clubs with the resources they need to deliver quality sporting experiences for young Australians.
Building on a successful first year
The inaugural Future Stars Grant demonstrated just how important this support is for grassroots sport.
In 2025, 24 volunteer-run clubs across Australia shared $100,000 worth of sporting equipment, helping improve training, support growing participation and reduce costs for families.
This year, the grant returns with the same commitment to supporting grassroots clubs and the communities they serve.

A partnership creating real impact
The Future Stars Grant is made possible through the ongoing partnership between Swysh and the Australian Sports Foundation.
Swysh connects fans with personalised video messages from hundreds of sporting stars and personalities, while also creating meaningful impact beyond the screen. 10% of every Swysh personalised video purchased contributes directly to funding the Future Stars Grant, helping turn memorable moments into lasting benefits for grassroots sport.
Together, Swysh and ASF are helping clubs access the equipment they need so more young Australians can enjoy the many benefits of community sport.
