    Early Development

    Brooke Gilchrist began her football journey in 2014 at just seven years old, with Modbury Vista Soccer Club. Starting out in the boys’ teams, she quickly developed resilience, competitiveness, and a strong technical foundation. In 2016, she transitioned into the Under 13 Girls team, continuing her development with Modbury Vista in Under 13 and Under 15 teams until 2022.


    Pathway Progression

    At age 15, Brooke was selected for the Football SA Fulltime Pathway Program, a recognition of her talent, work ethic, and potential to progress to elite levels.


    State Representation

    Brooke has represented South Australia multiple times at the School Sport Australia Football Nationals, competing in the Under 12 Girls age group in 2018 and 2019, and later in the Under 18 Girls team in 2024 and 2025. In 2025, she was honoured to be named captain, reflecting her leadership and respect among peers and coaches.


    School & Academic Excellence

    Brooke has represented her state and school through Sports College of SA (previously SEDA College) in 2024 and 2025. Her teachers described her as:

    “Mature, humble and highly driven… you have consistently performed at an elite level within your sport. Leading back‑to‑back championships, you have helped establish the college as a dominant force in female football. Your commitment, teamwork and ability to inspire those around you have made a lasting impact. In the classroom you demonstrate honesty, reliability and compassion, leading by example with grace and determination.”


    Senior Football Career

    In 2024, at just 16 years old, Brooke made her Women’s National Premier League (WNPL) senior debut with Adelaide City Football Club, earning the Emerging Talent Award in her first season. In 2025, she was the player of the match on four occasions , finishing third in the Club MVP vote count and received 8 votes in the WNPL Player of the Year, the highest tally for her club.


    In 2025, she will continue her senior career in the WNPL with Campbelltown City Football Club.


    International Experience

    Brooke co‑captained a South Australian select team in the KL Invitational Tournament (Malaysia) in 2024 and 2025.

    -2024: Team won the Cup; Brooke finished second in the Golden Boot.

    -2025: Team placed third, with Brooke again playing a key leadership role.


    National Recognition

    In 2025, Brooke competed in the Joeys World Cup Tournament in Inverell, NSW, representing South Australia. Her performance earned her selection to represent Australia in the 2026 Joeys World Cup All Stars Team, travelling to Germany from 20 June to 13 July 2026. The trip is self-funded by the players.


    2026 Germany Tour

    Brooke will participate in an elite month‑long program including:

    -Training at Sport School Braunshausen with Jens Kiefer

    -Cultural and educational experiences

    -Tournament at Spiesen/Elversberg

    -Training at the Borussia Dortmund Football Academy

    -Tournament at Holzwickeder FC

    - Matches against VFB Cottbus and Energy Cottbus


    The tour also presents a genuine opportunity for Brooke to be scouted by Bundesliga clubs, a dream she is determined to pursue.


    The tour is entirely self‑funded, with costs exceeding $10,000 including airfares, accommodation, uniforms, transport, and training fees. Every donation helps Brooke take the next step toward her goal of becoming a professional footballer.
