My baseball journey began in 2021, sitting in the stands at a Melbourne Aces vs. Auckland Tuatara ABL game. The moment I watched the first pitch, I was hooked — I knew baseball was where I belonged.

Not long after, I joined the Newport Rams Baseball Club, where my development took off.

With the support of my family, passionate volunteer coaches, and an incredible club community, I worked hard to improve every single week. In just my second season, I was honoured to receive the prestigious Stan McKay Award - Best Junior Player 2022/2023 & MVP.

In my short time playing baseball, I was selected into the Baseball Victoria Futures Development Program, and I now attend Maribyrnong Sports Academy, training in their elite Baseball Program. In 2024/2025, I represented the Melbourne Mets Charter Junior League Team, competing at the Victorian Championships & National Championships in Lismore, NSW, with strong performances both on the mound and in the batter’s box.

My journey hasn’t been without setbacks. In 2023, I underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. In early 2025, I fractured my wrist sliding into home base. Both injuries required months of rehab — but each time, I returned stronger, fitter, and more determined.

That determination has paid off.

I have now been selected to represent:

• Australia at the U15 Oceania Championship in Guam (November 2025)
• Victoria at the U16 Australian Youth Championships (January 2026)

The winner of the Oceania Championship secures a place in the 2026 Baseball World Cup in Italy — the opportunity of a lifetime.

Representing my club, my state, and now my country is a dream come true.

Travelling to Guam to wear the Australian jersey is an incredible honour, but the trip is self-funded, and the costs are significant.
