Since I was young, it was clear that academics would be a challenge for me. Because of this, my family and I focused on my strengths — and that’s where I found my passion for football.

I began playing club football at just 8 years old, and it quickly became more than a sport — it became my purpose. In my early years I was fortunate to be recognised for my talent and was selected into the FQ Academy. Since then, my commitment has only grown.

I currently train five days a week (with double sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). I play for Brothers Townsville Football Club in the U16–U18 FQPL team, compete in the U16 FQ Academy, and complete additional private training through Football Performance Pathways. I also have upcoming trials for the Northern School Region Football team, which I am working extremely hard to be selected for.

To continue developing at an elite level, we are planning to invest in additional training opportunities in Brisbane, where I will train with high-level coaches and clubs. However, pursuing these opportunities comes with significant costs. This year alone, I will be travelling to Brisbane (three times), Mackay, Cairns, and potentially for NQ School Sports (details yet to be confirmed). The travel expenses for these opportunities are expected to be around $6,000.

Every session, every trip, and every opportunity brings me closer to my goal of becoming the best player I can be.
