    ABOUT Erin Burnside

    Erin has been selected to compete at the Under 16 National Hockey Championships in Hobart, Tasmania, representing the Hockey NT Women’s Under 16 State Team. She has also been named as a training partner with the Hockey WA Under 16 Women’s State Team.


    Through the Northern Gateway partnership between Hockey NT and Hockey WA, Erin given the opportunity to represent Hockey NT at this championship.


    To prepare for this opportunity, Erin is required to travel to Perth for weekend training sessions (approximately a 1,400 km round trip), as well as attend the National Championships in Hobart from 14–21 April 2026.


    The estimated cost to cover training travel, uniforms, competition fees and championship travel is approximately $10,000. Any support to help Erin pursue this incredible opportunity would be sincerely appreciated.
