Hi , I'm Felix

I'm 14 and I live in the Blue Mountains.

I've been playing AFL since 2021 with my Blue Mountains team and i've just finished my 3rd season with the GWS Giants AFL Academy.

In December I'll be traveling to Fiji for a 10-day AFL Tour consisting of a 4-game series against the U14's national Fiji team.

This opportunity means I will get to experience a new culture whilst playing the game I love.

This is a self-funded venture.

I've had a few people ask how they can support me with the cost of my travel, uniforms and team coaching, which is why I've created this fundraiser to offset part of the cost. Up until now, I’ve been chipping away with odd jobs.

Your support will help keep me growing my skills, competing and representing my community.

AFL has taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

It's a great community to be part of, and It has helped me grow my confidence, make friends,and mature as a person.

This year I have been doing my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh and chose AFL as my Physical Recreation component.

For the Volunteer Service component, I helped coach my sisters' U12 AFL team as well as help on her game days and in the club canteen.

In July, I was selected by AFLNSW to participate in a 3-day leadership camp in Narrabeen for U14 Indigenous and Multicultural AFL Players.

I was proud to represent my South African heritage (from my dad's side) in the diversity cup, where the indigenous team played against the multicultural team at Blacktown International Sports Park. It was amazing to be part of a game that was live-streamed.

When it's not AFL season, I am conscious of maintaining my fitness, so I do Little Athletics and Nippers down at Ramsgate beach.
