A National Dragon Boat Athlete headed to Germany as part of "The Auroras" Snr A National Team to Compete at the 17th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Brandenburg Germany this July 2025..

Dragon Boat racing is a self funded sport no matter the level you compete at, and like a lot of Elite National sports team/athletes in Australia competing overseas at World Championships, we don't receive funding from any government bodies, so rely on generous support from those around us.

Competing against some of the worlds best teams comes at a cost and this campaign is coming at a minimum cost of $8000 for individuals:

• Selection & Training camps in Australia (flights/accom interstate)
• Uniforms & Equipment
• Insurance & Entry fees
• Flights and accommodation to/in Germany
• Fuel for my 5hr round trips to melbourne for training (multiple times a week).

For those that know me, know Im passionate about my sport and chasing success with the rest of my team, as previous World Champions I want to give it everything to achieve that again..
