Jordan’s journey to State AFL selection has been built through dedication, discipline and an unwavering love for the game.

At the end of the 2025 football season, Jordan made the decision to push himself toward earning a place in the WA State 12s squad. From that moment on, he committed himself fully — spending extra time improving his strength, fitness and running capacity outside of regular team training, while also focusing on better recovery, nutrition and preparation.

Throughout the process, Jordan has listened closely to the guidance of his community, school and development coaches, constantly looking for ways to improve both his skills and understanding of the game. He also spends weekends watching local amateur football for inspiration, learning from older players and applying those lessons to his own development.

This year, Jordan progressed through 5 rounds of State trial games, competing alongside more than 430 athletes from across Western Australia. After each trial, players were progressively reduced until only the final squad remained.

Jordan has now proudly earned selection as 1 of only 20 boys chosen to represent Western Australia in the State 12s Boys AFL Tournament in August 2026.

This opportunity is a huge milestone in Jordan’s football journey and a reflection of the hard work, commitment and resilience he has shown throughout the State selection process.
