    ABOUT Lucas Cardaci

Hi, I’m Lucas Cardaci, and I’m honoured to have been selected to represent Australia at the 2025 Junior World Rowing Championships in Trakai, Lithuania. From August 6-10, I’ll be racing in the Men’s Coxless Quad alongside my teammates Max Mason, Monty Sallabank, and Eoghan Johnson; competing against the world’s best under-19 rowers.

This moment has been years in the making; From my first school regatta as a Trinity boy to winning the Pathways Schoolboy 8+, and an 11 month selections campaign with the West Australian Rowing Club, I’ve been supported by an incredible network of teammates, coaches, clubs, friends, and family. I’m proud to be the first West Australian men’s sculler to make this team in six years, and the fourth in the past two decades.

To make this dream a reality, I’ve relocated to Ballarat to train full-time, staying with an amazing host family; I will be training out of the Wendouree-Ballarat Rowing Club for the next 3 months until we depart.

With the demands of training, travel, and relocation, the financial burden is significant.

If you’re able, I’d be truly grateful for any support. Every contribution helps me take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and give it everything I’ve got.

Thank you for being part of my story.
