I am delighted to share the exciting news that I have been selected to represent South Australia in Ten Pin Bowling at the Special Olympics National Games, which will be held in Melbourne from 19th to 23rd October 2026. This year is particularly special, as it marks the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics Australia—a milestone that adds even greater significance to the event. The National Games are recognised as the premier competition in Australia, providing athletes with intellectual disabilities and/or autism an invaluable opportunity to showcase their skills and celebrate their achievements.

Being chosen for the South Australian Team is an incredible honour and a testament to the dedication and hard work that has gone into my training. However, participating in the Games comes with considerable expenses. I need to cover costs for ongoing training, flights to Melbourne, accommodation during the event, uniforms, and competition fees.
