Hi, my name is Raphael and I’m 14 years old.

For the past four years, my goal has been to make the Sunshine Coast Stingrays representative rugby union team. I’ve worked really hard in the off-season, training as much as I could, and I’m super proud to have been selected in the starting 15 to travel to Townsville at the end of this month to compete in the Queensland Country Cup Championships.

Rugby really inspires me to keep pushing myself, work hard, and always try to be better both on and off the field. This is a huge opportunity for me, and I’m really excited to give it everything I’ve got. My goal is not only to perform well at the tournament, but also to be recognised as one of the top performing players on the Sunshine Coast. I’m aiming to keep improving and hopefully earn selection in the Queensland Country team at the end of the competition.
