Rian has been given an incredible opportunity to take his rugby journey to the next level, having been selected to tour the UK and Ireland in December 2026 with Rugby Pathways.

At just 15 years old, Rian has been passionate about rugby for most of his life. He first pulled on his boots in the Under 8s at his local club, Caloundra Lighthouse, and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, his love for the game has only grown, and he now proudly represents both his club and his school, putting in the hard work week in and week out.

Rugby has given Rian so much more than just a sport—it’s taught him discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the value of commitment. Whether it’s early mornings, tough training sessions, or game days in all conditions, he shows up with determination and a genuine love for being part of a team.

Being selected for this tour is something he has worked towards for years. Travelling to the birthplace of rugby and competing against international teams is a dream come true, and an experience that will stay with him for life. It’s a chance not only to grow as a player, but as a young person, building confidence, independence, and lifelong memories.
