After 37 years of playing hockey, I’ve been selected to represent Australia for the very first time – as part of the Australian Spirits Masters team competing at the 2026 European Masters Hockey World Cup in Rotterdam.

Hockey has been the sport - and a very real love - of my life for nearly four decades. Being selected to play overseas at a World Cup event for the Australian Spirits is something I never imagined when I first picked up a stick at age ten in Maryborough, Queensland.

I’m raising funds to help cover the significant costs involved in representing the Australian Spirits overseas, including travel, accommodation, team levies and tournament expenses. Any support will go directly toward making this incredible opportunity possible.
