Jerril Rechter AM, FAICD

Chief Executive Officer

Jerril Rechter AM is an accomplished executive and board leader whose career spans government, sport, media and entertainment, health promotion and the arts. A Member of the Order of Australia (AM) and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD), she has led major organisations and delivered strategic change in complex environments.

Jerril joined the Australian Sports Foundation in March 2026, bringing extensive experience across sport and purpose-driven organisations, with a strong commitment to strengthening philanthropic investment in sport nationwide.

Her previous roles include Vice President, Business Development ANZ at The Walt Disney Company, Chief Executive Officer of Basketball Australia and Chief Executive Officer of VicHealth. She currently serves as Vice President of the Western Bulldogs Football Club and as a Director of IPC Health.

Jerril is recognised for building high-impact partnerships and advancing initiatives that deliver lasting community benefit, particularly as Australia approaches Brisbane 2032.
